Springtime in the Carolinas is absolutely beautiful!  Take a guided tour at Moore Farms Botanical Gardens, view the many styles of art exhibits at Artfields, and end the day with delicious red strawberries and other produce at Dorr Farms.  Let's not forget the delicious food at Schoolhouse BBQ!

· The cancellation date for this tour is March 20, 2024, which is the last day to cancel and receive a refund from Capitol Tours. Travel Insurance is available upon request to help protect your investment, subject to eligibility criteria.

7:30am Gather with your fellow travelers at Capitol Tours office in West Columbia to prepare for departure to Lake City at 8:00am.

9:45am Arrive at Moore Farms Botanical Garden for a guided tour at 10:00am. Learn about the plants and the history of the farm.

11:30am Continue to the Schoolhouse BBQ for a delicious buffet lunch.

1:15pm After lunch we will continue back to downtown Lake City where you will have free time to explore the Artfields exhibits which are displayed throughout the town.

2:30pm Time to travel to Dorr Farms in Gable, SC for tasty red strawberries and a farm tour. Each person will receive a ½ gallon basket of berries. Additional berries will be available for purchase, as well as other produce.

4:30pm It’s been a fabulous day at the farms and it’s time to return to West Columbia.
