Fun, enjoyed trip. Nice group and  excellent director!
Coach nice,  but wayyyyyyy too close together for seating comfort for those of us with extra long legs, esp. long upper leg….very uncomfortable.
Much more walking involved than we expected….maybe show layout of exhibit and where you had to walk, walk, walk to see that.
Lunch definitely not spas expected….again, lots of walking to fill salad plate, main entree plate, dessert plate…3 different trips!
Food variety not good for salads or for vegetables with entrees.
Desserts best…
Could have cut out stopping by ‘A Day in the Country’…nice, but too much!
Guess we’re just feeling our age! Ha!
But overall, glad we went.

We had a wonderful time!  Everything was great—especially our tour guide, Mary!

Fantastic trip as always! Mary and her crew never fails to produce a memorable outing. Great dinner choice. Shrimp and grits were as good as any I've ever had. Looking forward to the next trip :)

Night of a Thousand Candles

Travel was very comfortable and well planned.  Expert driver and wonderful guide with entertaining program options .  Restaurant was very good and experience at Brookgreen Gardens was excellent.  Thanks to all involved!!

Love the Brook Green Gardens at Christmas, lunch was delicious and the snack coming home was a surprise!
The stop at Buc-ees was an experience!

Good food. Lovely lights and candles. Mary did a great job as tour director and Charlie was a good driver. This is the only way we would do Night of a Thousand Candles. Drop off and pick up directly at the entrance to the event. No worries about traffic and parking. Second time I've done this trip.

Capitol Tours must do this  adventure every year.  We all need to bring our families and grandchildren to  Brook Green Gardens, Pawley’s Island.  The Christmas lights  woven into the live oaks, music in the air, smell of hot chocolate and museum filled with villages of electrical trains is for the young and young at heart.!! Mary, our tour director, made sure we had lots to eat.  Truly a 5 star tour.  This is an enjoyable and easy way to travel on a one day trip.

This was my second trip with Capitol tours...Mary is very organized, gracious,  and personable...There were lots of repeat participants...The bus was clean and comfortable...Our driver, Charlie, was SO careful and took all the worry out of the travel/traffic involved...The food was delicious; nothing beats fresh seafood...And Mary always makes sure she has plenty of snacks and water....We stayed on track other than leaving Brookgreen a few minutes later than anticipated, but well worth the extra 10 minutes to see the Christmas tree lighting ...The gardens were absolutely incredible decorated in all their holiday splendor !!...THIS was my Christmas present to me and what a gift it was !!...Thank you Mary and Capitol tours !!

The Charleston Christmas Show 2024

We enjoyed all the scheduled events and the accommodations were fantastic!  Out leader  Mary was wonderful; she was responsible for everything running smoothly and it did.

Opryland Christmas

Enjoyed all the beautiful sites.  Fellow travelers were all friendly and helpful.  Learned a lot about Nashville and Country Music.  Looking forward to my next adventure.

We had a great time.  The show was wonderful and will go again next year.

Christmas at the Legacy Theatre

We had a great time! Lunch was delicious and in a lovely setting. The Christmas show at Greg Rowles' Legacy Theater was a great way to kick of the holiday season.

This was a great trip.  I'm so glad I was able to go. The cast had great talent.

The scenery was breathtaking, the food delicious, and everyone was friendly. It was truly fun, relaxing, and every bit worth the time taken off work. The mountains are my very favorite and I look forward to more opportunities. Thank you!

Mountain Apples & Waterfalls

We hade a fantastic time on the 43rd anniversary. We had gone out and beyond traveling having a good time talk in a laughing, not the warrior but the club did everything for us. Come join us next time around. It is a great time to go out with the travel club bus all the time and have a lot of fun  !!! 

43rd Anniversary Tour

Apple farm was over the top.  This is a come back destination.  Loved the waterfall.

Another great trip by Capitol Tours. Had a great time, enjoyed Jeter Mountain Farm Orchards. The waterfall at Pearson's Falls was worth the hike to get to. Mary as usual goes out of her way to make you feel included. Thanks Capitol Tours!! (Didn't leave a review for the 43rd Anniversary tour but it was great, loved the Pink Jeep Tour, the shows and the delicious food, the mountains were gorgeous).

We Had a wonderful time.  Our tour Guide, Mary, was gracious and caring for each individual.  Loved the Pink Jeep ride through the Smoky  Mountains.

It was my first trip with this group and I really enjoyed myself. The bus ride was comfortable, the tour director was excellent and knowledgeable and willing to assist any way she could. The accommodations were nice and the restaurants were great. I will travel with them again.

We so enjoyed this vacation. Darwin is a terrific driver and he got us in and out of tight spaces! The Inn on the River was so accommodating and comfortable. We always enjoy staying there. The Array show was one of the best I have ever seen and the Comedy Club did not disappoint!!! The dinners were superb—I’m running out of superlatives but I have to save one for our Tour Director, Mary Young. She communicates directly and clearly so all of us traveling together know what is expected of us and how to have fun! We leave the worries to Mary !

Beautiful places and great places to eat and shop! Mary Young, the tour director was very polite and professional!  Darwin, the driver of the motorcoach was an excellent driver and was very helpful helping me with my disabled stepdaughter working the wheelchair lifting get her on and off the motorcoach. Thank you for a great trip and tour!

Artfields, Blooms and Berries

The trip was great. The people were great. And all we saw was great. Thank you Mary for a fun time..

Great trip!! Our guide Mr. Al Miller was wonderful, learned so much about the Gullah/Geechee culture. The International African American Museum was very educational although for me a little heart-wrenching at times.  Enjoyed lunch on the waterfront also. Thanks Capitol Tours for the trip!

We had a wonderful time.  Lunch at the Wilcox was delicious as always and the show was fantastic.  Enjoyed meeting and making new friends.  Capitol Tours staff treat everyone like family which adds to our enjoyment.
